PD021/036 Planning Applications for the Committee’s Consideration

21/00708 – 21 New Road, Ashurst – Demolition of existing garage & Carport to facilitate erection of two storey side/rear extension

No issues with this application, materials being used matched the existing. Unanimously agreed by all Members

21/00689 – 37 Peterscroft Avenue. Ashurst – First Floor rear extension

Members unanimously agreed that it was out of character with the surrounding properties, would cause overlooking, and that the height of the proposed extension would cause loss of light to the neighbours at 35 and 39 Peterscroft.

21800685 – 44 Peterscroft Avenue, Ashurst – Front & rear single storey extensions, new roof/wall configuration to existing conservatory

No issues with this application, unanimously agreed by all Members

21/00728 – 6 Holly Road, Ashurst – Single storey extension; replacement roof to covered area; 1 no additional window

Members felt that it would have an impact on Number 4 Holly Road and would be overbearing.  The replacement roof area was too large and not appropriate to the original curtilage of the building.

TPO/21/0420 – St Josephs, 8 Lyndhurst Road, Ashurst – Prune 1 x Beech tree
