Police appeal after a burglary at a pub in Ashurst

Police are appealing for witnesses following a break-in at The Forest Inn, Lyndhurst Road, Ashurst at approximately 2am on Monday, May 4.
A window was forced open to gain entry to the building. The owner was in the living quarters of the premises at the time of the burglary.
A quantity of cigarettes and cash in coins was stolen from vending machines in the bar area.
A 30-year-old man and a 26-year-old man, both from the New Forest have been arrested in connection with this incident.
